Abstract:
Family foundations are under enormous pressure to maximize charitable impact. Most have fewer assets, however, after the drop in investments markets from 2000 through 2002, and are looking for ways to rebuild, minimizing the amounts available to be distributed. In an effort to maximize effectiveness with a smaller amount of money, foundations should consider grant alternatives that leverage limited resources.Keywords:
