Abstract: 

While sexual violence has long been an issue in college communities, only in recent years has national attention been drawn to the topic. To officials, an increase in reporting could lead to one of two conclusions: Assaults are happening more frequently, or students are feeling more empowered to report them. Now more than ever, it is the responsibility of employees to play a role in sexual misconduct prevention, intervention, and education.
