Abstract:

“Beyond the Americans With Disabilities Act,” a new book from NASPA, the association of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, begins with a comprehensive review of the major changes made in federal disability laws in the last 10 years. After a discussion of the law, the book presents its major theme: that college personnel have to rethink their attitudes toward persons with disabilities to make the college environment more friendly to people with disabilities.
