Abstract:
About 25 years ago, in an area of northeast England called Cleveland, a situation occurred, the aftermath of which was to totally shake up the English system of investigating child abuse. Even now, any social worker, teacher, or police officer working in the field will still use the expression “post- Cleveland” to describe the current era of child protection practice.Keywords:
